Description of UPVC Pipes ASTM SCH40 SCH80 and SCH120

ASTM Schedule UPVC pipe, its material, size and physical properties are in line with ASTM D1785 standard, according to the wall thickness of the pipe can be divided into three specifications, Schedule 40, Schedule 80 and Schedule 120. Therefore, customers can choose the most suitable ASTM Schedule UPVC according to the pressure of the conveying fluid .

Corrosion Resistant UPVC Pipe, IPS Sizes 1/4" to 24". Generally resistant to most acids, bases, salts, aliphatic solutions, oxidizing agents and halogens. The pipe has excellent physical properties and flammability characteristics. Typical applications include chemical processing, electroplating, high purity applications, drinking water systems, water and wastewater treatment, drainage, irrigation, agriculture and the transfer of corrosive fluids.

Advantages of CPVC Pipes ASTM Schedule Series SCH40 and SCH80

  • 1. ASTM SCH UPVC pipes are resistant to acids, alkalis, salts, fatty solutions, oxidants and halogens, and are suitable for chemicals.
  • 2. Abrasion resistance, UPVC pipe has good resistance to abrasion and erosion of corrosive slurries.
  • 3. Smooth Bore, ASTM SCH UPVC pipe has a smooth inner wall and low fluid resistance, with no scaling on the surface.
  • 4. High pressure resistance, Schedule 120 can withstand pressures ranging from 340 psi (23.94kgf/cm²) to 1,010 psi (71.13kgf/cm²).
  • 5. Easy to join, By adopting the cold joining method, customers can use adhesive ASTM SCH UPVC pipe easily.
  • 6. It has Schedule 40, Schedule 80, and Schedule 120, from 3/8" to 24".
